About Wind Dancer

Scape 39

Our Scape 39 sailing catamaran, Wind Dancer 2, was designed by the renowned boat architect Alex Simonis and custom-built in Cape Town, South Africa.

The Scape 39 is a spacious and stable vessel, built for comfort, safety, ease of viewing and performance. It has large (and very popular!) flat decks and trampolines for lounging in the sun, a huge shaded cockpit with seating for all passengers, and it offers 360-degree views for easy spotting of our abundant marine life, making it the perfect charter cruiser for “catamaran cruise to Northern Isles” in Mauritius.

Navigational Systems

The Scape 39 is equipped with the modern navigational system, such as the Harken Batt Car System, Autopilot Control with rotary drive motor, Raymarine ST60 Tridata (speed, depth, temp), Raymarine ST60 Wind System, and Olympic 135 Compass.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Your safety is our priority. Our vessel has the SOLAS-approved lifejackets (for adults & children), VHF radio, lifebuoys and throw lines, fire extinguishers, emergency flares and beacons, emergency tiller, torch, first aid kit, toolkit and others.

Facilities & Services

We provide a lot of onboard facilities & services such as snorkeling equipment, diving platform with ladder, bar and large buffet counter, large on-deck BBQ, stereo announcement system, different cabins, toilets, spacious decks, etc.

Meet Our Crew

Our crew has 35 years of collective experience in sailing the Northern Isles of Mauritius and have been with Wind Dancer Catamaran for the last 10 years.

Beyond their experience, they are highly trained in their field. They have a love of the sea and an equal passion for their jobs which can be seen through their excellent service.
