SUNSET CRUISE AND DINNER

Sailing off at a leisurely pace into Grand Bay’s spectacular sunset aboard a magnificent catamaran while you sit back and relax with a refreshing cocktail from the bar has to be one of the finest ways to end the day or begin your night. Sunsets here on the north-west coast of Mauritius are legendary, and the best way to experience one is from the ocean. Large pods of dolphins, looking for rest and shelter for their young ones, are often spotted at that time of day.

Our sunset cruises allow you to take in the full splendor of historical Grand Bay and take you as far as Coin de Mire and its spectacular sea cliffs from where you get excellent views of the other northern isles and of the central mountain chain of Mauritius.

Our catamaran, with its large open seating areas on deck and at the front and rear, are uniquely designed for sunset viewing, photograph taking and socializing. They also have a bar facility, a top-of-the-line stereo system, and a tasteful music collection.

Tasty tropical snacks and a wide selection of drinks (complimentary selected cocktail, wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee) are served throughout the cruise.

Soon after sunset, we sail back to Grand Bay. The skipper will anchor the catamaran in a quiet cove near the Royal Palm hotel and begin the dinner preparations while festivities get underway
