This full-day cruise takes you south of Grand Bay, along the spectacular west coast of Mauritius and all the way to the Caudan Waterfront at the heart of Port Louis – which is a “Must See” for anyone visiting Mauritius. Set against a backdrop of magnificent sea and mountain views, the bustling Waterfront abounds with exciting shopping and entertainment venues intermingled with world-class hotels and restaurants ooverlooking the Port Louis Harbor. Its craft market in particular is a hive of activity with wonderful ambiance where you are sure to find all the souvenirs for the family back home.

From the Waterfront, you will climb onboard a comfortable, air conditioned minibus and venture into the labyrinth-like streets of Port-Louis in search of Mauritius’ fascinating colonial past. This wonderfully informative guided tour will take you to such landmarks as the famous Port-Louis Market, the Champ de Mars, the Citadel, and the Aapravasi Ghat (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

By morning’s end you will be taken back to the Caudan Waterfront and begin the return journey to Grand Bay aboard your catamaran. About 30 minutes after leaving the Port Louis harbour you will arrive at the wonderful Turtle Bay Marine Park, which was Mauritius’ first proclaimed national marine park known for its rich marine life. Endless varieties of corals, bright tropical fish, and turtles live in harmony in this underwater paradise, which you can start exploring while your crew prepares a delicious BBQ lunch. After lunch you will have plenty more time to enjoy the underwater world, relax on the nearby pristine beaches, or just sit back and admire the majestic backdrop of volcanic peaks overlooking the marine park. The return to Grand Bay will be at a leisurely pace.

08h15	Boarding and pre-departure briefing by your Captain
08h30	Guided cruise to the Caudan Waterfront – Sail past Fort Malarctic, Cap Malheureux and other important historical sites, the high sea cliffs of Gunner’s Quoin and Flat Island’s lighthouse
09h30	Arrive at the Caudan Waterfront – visit of the Waterfront (Craft market, etc…)
10h30	Guided tour of Port Louis aboard a comfortable and air conditioned mini-bus (City Market, Champ de Mars, Citadel, Aapravasi Ghat).
12h30	Boarding of catamaran and sail to Turtle Bay Marine Park
13h00	Arrive at Turtle Bay Marine Park for a delicious barbecue lunch and an afternoon of snorkeling, sunbathing, beach strolling and relaxation
15h30	Sail to Grand Bay
