This is the perfect cruise for those who have less time on their hands and who are looking for an adventure away from it all!

This half-day cruise combines a discovery of the Northern Isles in complete tranquility with our romantic sunset cruise. It will take you the far northeast corner of Mauritius, which remains wild, largely unknown and difficult of access despite its evident attractions: uninhabited islands, pristine beaches, turquoise-blue lagoons, untouched snorkel spots, enclosed little coves, mangrove gardens and bird sanctuaries.

We journey as far as Amber Island and Bernache Island – two small islets which are mainly visited by traditional fishermen and inhabited by a rare and endemic bird, the Grey White Eye. After a spectacular snorkelling stop at the barrier reef, known only by a few nature lovers, your captain will steer the catamaran due west, in a large loop that will bring you to the back of another cluster of islets – Gabriel Island, Flat Island and Pigeon Roc – and which will offer unique vistas of two other islets looming in the distance – Round Island and Serpents Island.

By the time you enter the beautiful lagoon which separates Gabriel Island and Flat Island, all tourists of the day will have left. You will be alone strolling on the beautiful beaches, and the only sound you will hear will be that of the tropic birds flying overhead in spectacular aerobatics.

By the time you board the catamaran again for the return journey to Grand Bay, the sky will be set ablaze by an explosion of colours from the setting sun. It will be time to sit back and relax, sip a delicious rum punch, listen to island music, and reminisce on all the beautiful memories brought by the cruise.
